recognizes the Valencian poet's body of work and comes with a €20,000 prize and the publication of an anthology by the City Council.

The jury highlighted Siles' erudition, his mastery of poetic language and humanistic outlook; his unique contribution to the Hispanic lyrical tradition from a contemporary perspective, being a key figure in the Novísimos movement. Selected from among 37 candidates from 15 countries, his proposal was submitted by the ABC newspaper. The mayor emphasized the award's role as a bridge between tradition and innovation, in line with Granada's aspiration to become the European Capital of Culture in 2031.
