Luis Alberto de Cuenca has been awarded the José Luis Sampedro Prize 2025, a recognition that highlights his relevance and innovative spirit in the Spanish literary and cultural scene. The jury for the award, chaired by the mayor of Getafe and the councilor for Culture and Coexistence, highlighted the generosity and creative diversity of an author who has excelled in poetry, essays, music, and public administration.
The award ceremony will take place at the Getafe Negro Festival, which will celebrate its 18th edition from October 18 to 26, consolidating the award as one of the major international cultural references.
