Madrid, October 2, 2025. The emergence of generative artificial intelligence (GAI) in the literary world was the central theme of the round table discusión, 'La vida del escritor en tiempos de AI':
¿Que nos dice el Libro Blanco Escribir y traducir en tiempos de la IA de ACE?” (The life of the writer in the age of AI: What does ACE's White Paper Writing and Translating in the Age of AI tell us?) held on September 30 at the National Library of Spain.
The event, organized as part of the series of colloquiums 'Escribir y sus circumstancias' (Writing and its circumstances), featured Carme Riera, president of CEDRO; Ramón J. Soria, writer and anthropologist; and Manuel Rico, president of the Collegiate Association of Writers of Spain (ACE). The round table was moderated by Carmen Cuartero, director of communications at CEDRO.
