Chile will take center stage at LIBER 2025 as Guest of Honor. Organized by IFEMA MADRID together with the Spanish Federation of Publishers' Guilds (FGEE),
the 43rd edition of the International Book Fair will offer a privileged space to diffuse and promote Chile's literary and publishing wealth from October 7 to 9.
Chile's presence at this edition as Guest of Honor also coincides with the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of the awarding of the Nobel Prize in Literature to Gabriela Mistral, the first Latin American author to receive this recognition. She will be one of the central figures of the program, with activities that bring her legacy into dialogue with contemporary voices in Chilean literature.
