Irene Vallejo, one of the most renowned voices of the current Spanish literary scene, was one of the international guests at the Costa Rica International Book Fair (FILCR).
The event, which was held from July 19 to 27 at the Costa Rica Convention Center, brought together authors, readers, publishers, and culture lovers in an atmosphere that promotes encounters and reflection on reading.
The Aragonese author, famous for her celebrated essay “El infinito en un junco,” actively participated during the first weekend of the fair with several presentations. Her presence was one of the biggest attractions of this year's program, arousing the interest of both the reading community and those who were encountering her work for the first time.
