The Algarve is shaken by the disappearance of a police officer and the kidnapping of a mother and her daughter. This is the plot of Gil Ribeiro's novel ‘Largas sombras en Fuseta.’
Synopsis: In Faro, three men arrive with the intention of carrying out a crucial mission: to kidnap Rhona and her daughter Imani, who are the wife and daughter of businessman Pedro Lino. The latter was linked to an enigmatic company associated with various NGOs in former Portuguese colonies.
Police officer Teresa Fidadeiro disappears without a trace, while Graciana, Carlos, and Lost—who is deeply fascinated by the police officer's daughter, who also suffers from Asperger's syndrome—unleash chaos in the city in their search. At the same time, they investigate their shared past with the businessman, all while Flores Yola, an Angolan political activist, arrives in the city and someone plots her death.
