The Board of Directors of the Spanish Federation of Publishers' Guilds (FGEE) has decided to award the Boixareu Ginesta Bookshop of the Year Award to Librería Serendipia, in Ciudad Real,

for being a local cultural agent that has consolidated itself as a key space in its territory.

Madrid, July 17, 2025 - The Librería Serendipia bookstore in Ciudad Real has been chosen by the Board of Directors of the FGEE as the ‘Boixareu Ginesta’ bookstore of the year award in its 2025 edition. Since 1995, this award has distinguished the work of booksellers and bookstores that play an important role in the development and promotion of literary culture and contribute to the consolidation of the book process in their areas of activity.

Librería Serendipia has become, since its foundation in 2013, a model of innovation and cultural dynamism in Ciudad Real and Castilla-La Mancha.  With three physical locations, it has an exclusive space for cultural activities that has allowed them to develop a bookstore model that transcends the sale of books and is firmly committed to the creation of a reading community.
