La Aventura de la Historia, a monthly magazine on History and Archaeology, celebrates its 20th anniversary this month.
The publication, born in November 1998 with the aim of becoming a benchmark for the popularization of history, commemorates the anniversary with a special issue of 132 pages dedicated to the History of Spain, in which twenty renowned specialists analyze centuries of Spanish history.
A complete Dossier of more than 60 pages is completed with an introduction to the cultures that the Romans found in the Iberian Peninsula, by David Solar, founder and first director of the magazine, and a closing article on the challenges that the 21st century poses to our country by Asunción Doménech, also founder and former director of the publication.
In these two decades, La Aventura de la Historia - a publication ‘written by professors, but for the general public’, as Solar defined it in its first issue - has published more than 5,000 articles over 25,000 pages.
