After the success of its first edition, the Madrid Comic Fair will return to the Matadero Madrid cultural space in March 2026 as one of the great comic encounters, bringing together authors, publishers, bookstores and fans of the ninth art.
Organized by the Madrid City Council and the Madrid Bookstore Association, in collaboration with the Germán Sánchez Ruipérez Foundation (Casa del Lector), the Madrid Comic Fair seeks to consolidate itself as one of the major cultural events on the Madrid calendar, following the success of its inaugural edition in 2025, which brought together more than 15,000 attendees.
The fair is presented as a unique opportunity to discover new talent, special second editions and exclusive releases, as well as to participate in meetings with national and international authors. The Madrid City Council has confirmed a nominative subsidy to support the organization of the event, included in its Strategic Subsidy Plan 2024-2027, with the aim of guaranteeing the continuity and growth of the fair as a key event in Madrid's cultural calendar.
