The publisher 'La Uña Rota' has been awarded the National Award for the Best Cultural Publishing Work, corresponding to the year 2025, at the proposal of the jury meeting today.
The jury singled out the publishing house for “its constant dedication, perseverance, originality and its commitment to high quality publishing with a catalog that is testimony to its demanding spirit and one of the most valuable examples of the independent publishing scene”.
The jury also pointed out that La Uña Rota "has managed to make visible, give coherence, continuity and quality to the publishing of not so commercial genres such as dramatic literature, poetry and essays. And this, through a heterogeneous catalog of singular works born in the frontiers of the avant-garde and the underground that, thanks to a work of opportunity and contextualization, manage to insert themselves in the Spanish cultural discourse".
The prize, awarded by the Ministry of Culture, is endowed with 30,000 euros.
