The National Library of Spain inaugurates the exhibition 'Jorge Semprún. El largo viaje.’

The Spanish Ministry of Culture, the Spanish Ministry of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory and Acción Cultural Española inaugurated yesterday, Tuesday June 3,

Jorge Semprún. El largo viaje at the National Library of Spain. The exhibition, at the BNE's main headquarters on Paseo de Recoletos in Madrid, can be visited free of charge until August 31 in the library’s Sala Hipóstila.

After going through the Archive of the Crown of Aragon in Barcelona and the Documentary Center of Historical Memory in Salamanca, the National Library of Spain thus takes the baton for this exhibition dedicated to the Spanish writer, screenwriter and intellectual on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz, Mauthausen and Buchenwald concentration camps, where Jorge Semprún was imprisoned.
