Bookwire has announced the Bookwire Audiobook Awards 2025, new awards that will be presented annually by Bookwire in collaboration with FIL Guadalajara's Audio Forum, to internationally recognize the quality and popularity of Spanish-language audiobooks,
as well as entrepreneurial and professional careers in the growing Spanish-language audio industry.
This first edition of the Bookwire Audiobook Awards, the main objectives of which are to promote and give visibility to the international production of audiobooks in Spanish, in all its diversity of categories and genres; reward the contribution to our society through audiobooks, by entities that promote through their content, inclusion around gender/gender identity, race and ethnicity, LGBTQ+ identities, disability, age, socioeconomic conditions and also promote innovative initiatives within the audio industry, especially those related to the application and combination of more traditional processes with those that drive new technologies.
