Reviews of the most outstanding works by Carmen Mola

Carmen Mola: the name that changed everything in the publishing market, at least, as far as crime novels are concerned.

Before it became known that, in fact, Carmen Mola is nothing more than the pseudonym of authors Jorge Díaz, Agustín Martínez and Antonio Mercero, the name of this supposedly anonymous woman had gained prestige with works such as ‘La novia gitana,’ ‘La red púrpura’ and ‘La Bestia.’

However, in 2021 -precisely when Carmen Mola was forced to come out to receive the Planeta award for ‘La bestia,’ the trio received all kinds of reviews, from the most positive to the cancellation by independent bookstores oriented to sell books written by women. Even so, Mola is a success. For this reason, we leave you with a selection of Carmen Mola's most outstanding works.

La Bestia (2024)

El Clan (2024)

Las madres (2023)

La novia gitana (2021)

La Nena (2021)

La red púrpura (2021)
