The general director of Books, Comics and Reading of the Spanish Ministry of Culture, María José Gálvez, and the president of the Commission of Culture and Historical Heritage of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP)
and mayor of Clavijo, Pedro Muro Martínez, delivered on May 27, the awards of the Campaign of Encouragement to Reading María Moliner in its XXIV edition. The ceremony was attended by the mayors and librarians of the municipalities awarded with the ten best projects of the 640 presented.
This year, the awards ceremony was moved from the FEMP headquarters to the Town Hall of Paniza (Zaragoza). This municipality is the birthplace of the librarian and lexicographer María Moliner, in whose honor the award is named, thus framing this event within the program of activities promoted by the Ministry of Culture to celebrate the125th anniversary of her birth.
