The Valencian writer (1974) is an economist and expert in entrepreneurial techniques. From his professional point of view, he assures without hesitation that, as a business, writing 'is not a good start up'.
This axiom is said by someone who, nevertheless, kept to his hobby and succeeded. Alandes, lecturer and coach, has six novels to his credit, including ‘El rey de bronce’ (Contraluz), the odyssey of a brilliant art forger who, in order to sell his promised work, must first create it.
Alandes invited journalists to lunch in Madrid to present his new book, which is more adventure than historical, although his last novels bore the seal of this genre. ‘La última mirada de Goya,’ the previous one (also by Contraluz) was awarded the Cerros de Úbeda prize. In this award, the writer does not enter any kind of competition, but rather his work is chosen by a jury from a shortlist of titles.
