The 84th edition of the Madrid Book Fair, which will be held from May 30 to June 15 at El Retiro Park, was presented this morning at the Madrid City Hall.
The director of the Fair, Eva Orúe, has outlined the main milestones of this edition, which seeks to strengthen its Ibero-American dimension.
New York, the epicenter of Spanish in the United States and a key stage for migrant and mixed-race literature, will be the guiding thread of the Madrid Book Fair 2025. Among others, Eduardo Lago, Kirmen Uribe, Claudia Salazar Jiménez, Lila Zemboráin, Mariela Dreyfus, Frances Negrón Montaner, Guillermo Severiche and Ana Diz will participate in the fair. Junot Díaz, whose Spanglish serves as a bridge to the English in which Vivian Gornick, Teju Cole, Rebecca Solnit, Garth Greenwell, Catherine Lacey, Junot Díaz, Lucy Sante, Katie Kitamura and Eliot Weinberger write, will also be at El Retiro.
