We leave behind April, one of the most special months for literature lovers, because as every year on the 23rd is the celebration of the Day of the Book and Sant Jordi.

At such a special time, it is worth checking out all those books that are grabbing the attention of readers.

The list of best-selling books in April is headed by the new novel by María Dueñas, an author who conquered the public with titles such as “El tiempo entre costuras” and “Sira,” and who returns to the literary scene after 4 years without publishing; her return to the arena could not have been more successful, becoming the best-selling work in bookstores and the best-selling book in Spanish for Sant Jordi 2025.

She is joined on the podium by Joël Dicker with his latest thriller and the book in which Javier Cercas approaches religion in general and Pope Francis in particular.
