Book Day has brought the consolidation of the changes of recent weeks to the list.
In fiction, the first position remains in place for Por si un día volvemos, the new novel by María Dueñas, which takes us to 1920s Oran. Also notable is La muy catastrófica visita al zoo, the latest work by best-selling author Joël Dicker, a novel with a youthful feel and full of insights into our society, designed "for readers between 7 and 120 years old."
On a more literary level, Oposición, Sara Mesa's sharp critique of bureaucracy, and La dulce existencia, a moving reflection on the passage of time by Milena Busquets, are still in contention, as well as Canon de cámara oscura, the new work of genius by the unorthodox Enrique Vila-Matas.
