Javier Cercas and Xavier Bosch, among the best-selling authors of a record-breaking Sant Jordi.

Sant Jordi began with a forecast of good weather and records of booths and sales, and so it has been: more than 26 million euros invoiced, two million copies of books and seven million roses sold.

Also, since the morning, some names resonated to head the expected lists of successes of the day. The lists of best-selling books published in recent weeks by the Gremi d'Editors, with no surprises, have coincided with those of the 23rd.

According to preliminary data from La Cambra del Llibre de Catalunya, leading the sales are “Diagonal Manhattan” (Columna) by Xavier Bosch; “Por si un día volvemos” (Planeta) by María Dueñas; “El loco de Dios en el fin del mundo” (Random House) by Javier Cercas and “Entre el paradís i l'apocalipsi” (Rosa dels Vents) by Xavier Sala i Martín.
