Instituto Cervantes will publish a dictionary as a tribute to Vargas Llosa

The Vargas Llosa Dictionary will include the participation of 100 writers.

In addition to mourning the death of Spanish-Peruvian writer Mario Vargas Llosa, the Cervantes Institute highlighted the quality of his work and announced that it will publish a dictionary in his honor.

'As director of the Instituto Cervantes, I thank him for his generous help and commitment. As a friend, I was always grateful that the difference of political opinions was not a reason for enmity,' wrote the Spanish poet Luis García Montero, director of the Cervantes Institute, in a message sent to the media.

García Montero wanted to praise the 'commitment to literary renewal' that the Nobel lauded in his professional life, but also 'his constant vigilance not to degrade quality'.
