We analyze some of the best stories from the recently published novels so that everyone can choose the one that suits them best: the genre has something for everyone.
The noir genre continues to show enviable health, so I have chosen, from among the dozens of new releases, eight that are worthwhile and that test the limits, wide and still to be scrutinized, of the genre we love. We travel in this selection from a couple of civil guards who are going on 30 years in active duty to the arrival, at last, of the policeman Jimmy Perez to the Spanish market; an overwhelming true crime, a Danish series that concludes, a Spanish thriller and more.
Yes, there are several good novels that have been left out of this selection (and others not so good). Time is limited, yours and mine, and that is the primary reason. However, these come with the seal of confidence of those who have read and analyzed them. Stop by, read and enjoy.
