Burien Library will celebrate Día with free kids books, bilingual story time and paletas on Saturday, April 26

All are invited to join the Burien Library on Saturday, April 26, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. for a special Día celebration! Día is known as Children’s Day or Book Day (El Día del Niño y del Libro).

Día is a national celebration that helps kids and families discover books, world languages, and cultures in libraries and schools. It was introduced to the United States in 1996 by Mexican American author Pat Mora. KCLS will celebrate Día from April 19 to April 27.
