The Community of Madrid will celebrate the 20th edition of La Noche de los Libros on April 25th, with more than 500 free activities spread across 140 institutions, 110 bookstores, and 120 libraries
and cultural centers in 95 municipalities across the region. Under the motto "20 nights in one day," the activities will focus on the act of reading as a way of connecting with a less hectic life.
This cultural event will begin at the Real Casa de Correos headquarters of the regional government, which will open its doors to writers Rosa Montero, Luis Landero, and Manuel Vilas, who will review the different editions of La Noche de los Libros to reflect and imagine the past, present, and future of literature.
