Coinciding with the 3rd Comic Book Day, the Association of Comic Critics and Promoters of Spain (ACDCómic) has announced the winners of the 7th edition of its annual awards, this time two authors.
Valencian Laura Pérez (1983), with 'Nocturnos', won in the category of best national work, while Candela Sierra, who published 'Lo sabes aunque no te lo he digo', was recognized as an Emerging Author.
According to the association, both works, published by Astiberri, reflect on "society and our environment," and both authors forge a "very personal universe" with proposals "that reflect on the dreamlike and the satirical."
