Literature will take over the streets of Madrid on a special night celebrating its twentieth edition. For a few hours, libraries, bookstores, and cultural spaces in 99 Madrid municipalities will become the epicenters of a unique event, in which books will be the main protagonists.
During the day, the city will celebrate this event by also commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Carmen Martín Gaite, one of the most influential authors of 20th-century Spanish literature. Her legacy will be remembered in a moving event that will bring together readers and experts on her work.
