The third Comic Book Day promoted this Monday, March 17th by the Ministry of Culture, aims to confirm and even reinforce the sector's ambitions and confidence: there will be a myriad of activities throughout the country, workshops, conferences, meetings with authors, and even a Tintin-focused wine tasting in Granada. Spain's recent participation as a guest country at the Angoulême Festival, the most prestigious festival dedicated to the ninth art, will be celebrated.

However, the best news for the event is that it is welcoming more and more guests: last year, 12.4% of the reading population enjoyed at least one comic in the last quarter, compared to 2.8% in 2022, according to official data.
