For the third consecutive year, the Spanish Ministry of Culture is promoting the celebration of Comic Book Day, with the aim of recognizing the value of comics,
the weight of their history and their importance in the current context, as well as their diversity, creativity, and quality.
In conjunction with the anniversary, which falls on Monday, March 17th, the Spanish Ministry of Culture, through the Directorate General for Books, Comics, and Reading, has prepared a program of activities in various locations across Spain. Various organizations have joined the program, which is presented with the iconic official poster commissioned by Bea Lema, 2024 National Comic Award winner, and created using her signature embroidery technique.
