Seville will celebrate Poetry Day with the launch of a magazine dedicated to Juan Ramón Jiménez

The Ministry of Culture has scheduled numerous activities throughout Andalusia on March 21st.

Libraries, historical archives, and museums managed by the Ministry of Culture and Sport have organized around twenty activities to mark World Poetry Day, which is celebrated on March 21st. The program is geared toward a younger audience to spark interest in this genre through its great authors.

In Seville, the Infanta Elena Library will host a recital at 6:00 p.m. with a shared reading of young Spanish poetry and a poetry workshop. The new issue of the magazine "Amaryllis" will then be launched, with a special issue on Juan Ramón Jiménez, and will feature Rocío Fernández Berrocal. For its part, the Andalusian Institute of Historical Heritage will also contribute to this significant event by publishing information from its digital guide related to oral tradition poetry.
