Arantza Portabales has been demonstrating a solid command of the tools of crime fiction since Belleza roja (Lumen, 2019), a command without fanfare or tricks.
On this occasion, she does not lose sight of these attributes and adds new virtues to those already demonstrated in the Abad and Barroso series, a purer police series with excellent moments that she now parks to take us to the idyllic Galician beach where she spent her childhood.
