March brings new releases at the top of the list, although some titles from 2024 are still present. In the case of fiction, En el amor y en la guerra, the third part of the famous Saga de La Catedral del Mar by Ildefonso Falcones,
rises to the top position. Also notable, in addition to the usual novels by Paloma Sánchez-Garnica, Dolores Redondo, Julia Navarro and David Uclés, completing the list are El secreto de Marcial, by Jorge Fernández Díaz, a novel of family, exile and memory that won the last Nadal Prize and Los ahogados, a new crime novel by Benjamin Black, alter ego of the brilliant John Banville, which takes us to rural Ireland of the 1950s.
In non-fiction, the controversial Franco, a biography of the dictator written by historian Julián Casanova, rises to the top of the list. Also noteworthy are the collected articles by the late Almudena Grandes, Escalera interior, and the third book by the best-selling phenomenon Marian Rojas Estapé: Recupera tu mente, reconquista tu vida.
