The design entitled Libres by illustrator José Antonio Roda has won the LIBER 2025 Illustration Competition, becoming the graphic image for the next edition of the International Book Fair,
which this year will be held from 7 to 9 October at the Madrid Fairgrounds and is promoted by the Federation of Publishers' Guilds of Spain (FGEE) and organized by IFEMA.
The new graphic image of LIBER manages to introduce the viewer to the world of books. It is a design that faithfully reflects the author's style, with bright colors and a casual design.
The author, a native of Cornellà de Llobregat (Barcelona), explained that with his proposal for LIBER 2025 "he intended to create a simple illustration, a contemporary and recognizable image at a glance that would contribute to the visual identity of the fair. I was thinking about what I would like to see as a passionate reader, in creating an image that would make me want to attend LIBER».
