Benjamín G. Rosado wins the Biblioteca Breve Prize with a modern adventure novel about the power of fiction.

The jury of the Biblioteca Breve Prize 2025 has unanimously decided to recognize El Vuelo del hombre, a novel full of adventures, a literary investigation that gives no rest to the reader, a book about books and about the power of fiction to transform our lives. With it, Benjamín G. Rosado debuts as a novelist, as a daring narrator who draws on a literary tradition of great fabulists, such as Auster or Bolaño.

The award ceremony for the Biblioteca Breve Prize 2025 was held Thursday, February 13th, at the Gran Teatre del Liceu in Barcelona. The novel, published by Seix Barral, will be available on March 12th in bookstores.
