According to journal Ara, the Italian group Feltrinelli, which owns 90.42% of La Central, will open a third bookstore in Barcelona, specifically at number 314 on Consell de Cent street, in the heart of Barcelona.
This new bookstore joins La Central in El Raval and the one on Mallorca Street.According to the newspaper Ara, the new bookstore will open between May and June 2025, will have a cafeteria and two different spaces, a main one of 250 square meters, and a second of 100 square meters, for book presentations.
The new bookstore will have a large section dedicated to fiction and Antonio Ramírez, co-founder of the bookstore, would like La Central de Consell de Cent, as it will be called, to specialize in providing books to young adults, those between 20 and 28 years old, with books on topics that may interest them.
