The new year begins with the launch of high-quality books. Three Nobel Prize winners —and Marise Condé, who won the alternative prize in an unusual edition— land in bookstores:
Günter Grass, now deceased, with an unpublished work; Jon Fosse, with an anthology of prose; and Olga Tokarczuk, who publishes her first novel after winning the precious award. In national fiction, the veteran Rosa Montero and Virginia Feito, who dazzled with her first novel. From Great Britain, Samantha Harvey, the latest winner of the Booket; and from the other side of the pond, Fernanda Trías. Also, the latest from the Hispanicist Paul Preston.
