The Follas Novas Awards for Galician Books are celebrating their tenth anniversary, consolidating themselves as the benchmark awards in the world of books in Galicia.
Organized jointly by the Association of Writers of Galicia (AELG), the Association of Galician Editors (AGE) and the Federation of Bookstores of Galicia (FLG) have announced the seventy titles selected from among those published in 2024 to participate in the tenth call for these awards. The awards will be decided at the gala to be held next April at the Teatro Principal in Santiago.
In this first phase, the selection of the seventy titles was carried out by the associates of the three groups promoting the awards. From now on, a jury made up of renowned people from the book sector will choose the finalists and winners in each of the thirteen nominations for these awards, which review the literary and editorial activity of the year 2024.
