Next Monday, January 13 will be the premiere of ‘Bendita sed,’ the podcast developed by Nuria Pérez, writer and creator of ‘Gabinete de curiosidades,’ which is a tribute to Alfaguara on its sixtieth anniversary.
Throughout the five episodes of ‘Bendita sed,’ Nuria Pérez describes the history of Alfaguara from its founding in October 1964 to the present, through the experiences and memories of so many emblematic authors of the label, highlighting relevant titles published in these six decades, the legacy of the Latin American boom present in their catalog and the role of Alfaguara as a bridge between cultures.
The five episodes are titled “Pregúntamelo todo”, “El pasaporte universal”, “Cuando la niñez huele a lápiz”, “Un hacha contra el mar helado” and “La otra red” and will be released daily from January 13 until Friday, January 17, when the podcast will be available in its entirety on all audio platforms.
