Julia Navas Moreno was born in Avilés in 1966. Since 1989 she has lived in Gijón. Graduated in Art History from the University of Oviedo, her true passion has always been literature.
She began writing poetry and stories at an early age. She has won the literary contest for Book Day in Avilés. She remained inactive for many years and has returned with Esperando a Darian.
She also writes articles in which she gives her opinion and collects some of her blogs and that have seen the light in numerous letters to El País Semanal. She currently collaborates monthly with the digital magazine Future Magazine, with musical and literary reviews. In November 2014 she won the II short story contest Contra la Violencia Machista, organized by the Terrassa City Council with the Department of Gender Policies. This story appears in the book Compartiendo Historias.
On March 27th, 2015, she presented her poetry collection Confieso que he perdido el miedo in Gijón with the help of Hades editor and poet David González.
