Interview with Álvaro Otero: 'The narrative discourse is in constant transformation as it is fragmented more and more every day'.

Álvaro Otero is a writer who likes to 'slow-cook his books'.

His new work is entitled La luz que nos guía, which may seem to be a historical account, as it is based on real and true facts; but no, it is not a historical novel; it is literature, he tells us on the terrace of a bar near the Plaza de Santa Ana. It has taken him twelve years to publish this novel.

I spent almost four years documenting myself, I went to all the scenarios of the novel, I read all the books on the subject and then spent another eight years writing, he tells us with a slight Galician accent.
