SM Mexico's Barco de Vapor and Gran Angular awards ceremony celebrated the commitment to good books for children and young adults.

were greeted with a lollipop placed in their seats while a black-winged, black-tailed devil and a geisha waited at the back of the venue, in the presidium; both being characters in each of the winning books.

The candy had the covers of the award-winning books on each of its faces. Among the attendees were mostly writers, publishing professionals, as well as readers who follow the work of the award winners, Mexicans Juan Carlos Quezadas and Karime Cardona Cury.
