Researchers, academics, proofreading and publishing professionals will meet this week in Quito for the Seventh International Congress on Proofreading in Spanish
This congress will address the concerns and expectations of those involved in proofreading, at a time of momentous changes in the way they perform their work and relate to colleagues, clients and other participants in the publishing field. The 7Cicte will be held from November 21 to 23, 2024, at the facilities of the Universidad Andina Simón Bolívar.
The Congress is organized by the Ecuadorian Association of Proofreaders (Acorte). This event is not only an opportunity for professional and academic exchange, but also highlights the importance and evolution of the proofreading profession in the Spanish-speaking world.
