The Elena Fortun Library of the Renacimiento publishing house begins the rescue of the books that the famous writer dedicated to the other children of the Gálvez family.
His name was Juan Antonio Gálvez, but from the moment he was born he was referred to as Baby and, when he was older, his older sister, the unforgettable Celia, changed his nickname to Cuchifritín, which has an echo to cochifrito (a Segovian fried or cooked dish pork dish) and which came to him “pintiparado”, (to the likes of) according to his grandfather.
The boy was born when the dreamy and willing Celia was seven years old, in the pages of “Celia y sus amigos,” the fifth installment of the series of children's novels by Elena Fortún, pseudonym of Encarnación Aragoneses (1886-1952). Soon the adventures and mischief of the little boy took on a life of their own.
