The Fundación Germán Sánchez Ruipérez (FGSR) held the Lecturalab 24 professional meeting at the Casa del Lector in Madrid.
Yesterday's event brought together international experts in the field of reading to analyze and demonstrate the multiple positive impacts that reading has on people and society.
Organized as part of the Lecturalab Prototype project, co-funded by the Ministry of Culture, the event was part of the FGSR's R&D strategy to promote a deeper understanding of the benefits of reading.
Lecturalab 24 reaffirmed that reading is a fundamental practice for the integral development of individuals and for the progress of democratic societies. Experts agreed that investing in the promotion of reading is crucial to address contemporary challenges, from mental health to environmental sustainability.
