Already in November, the second batch of autumn novels is consolidating its position on the list.
Among them, the new novel by the always reliable Arturo Pérez-Reverte, who continues in first position with “La isla de la Mujer Dormida,” a novel of love, sea and war.
Also in the ranking are these new novels: Andrés Trapiello, returns to the turbulent Madrid of the 1940s in “Me piden que regrese”; the first part of the long-awaited saga “La Vieja Familia,” by Eva Gª Sánez de Urturi; “El misterioso caso del impostor del Titanic,” by Carmen Posadas, a historical thriller starring none other than Emilia Pardo Bazán, and “Intermezzo,” in which Sally Rooney explores with tenderness and wit the (non)communication of her generation.
