Bosco Cortés is a native of Menorca who lives in Ibiza, and despite his profession as an electronics technician, he has always been passionate about reading and books.

In 2010 he decided to take his first creative writing course and has ended up publishing his first novel: “Conspiración: Matad al Presidente!” In this interview he talks about it and many other topics. We want to thank him for the time given to this interview.

ACTUALIDAD LITERATURA: Your novel is “Conspiración - ¡Matad al presidente!” What can you tell us about it and where did the inspiration come from?

BOSCO CORTÉS: It takes place between 1870-1871 and tells the story of the adventures of a lawyer who has been assigned to investigate the assassination of the president of the government, General Prim. The inspiration came to me consulting a history book, specifically the nineteenth century. I was struck by the fact that only a few brief lines were dedicated to the assassination. Years later the story came back while developing an assignment in a creative writing course and from there came the rest of the novel.
