The Salamanca bookstore Letras Corsarias has won the Cultural Bookstore Award 2024, granted by the Spanish Confederation of Guilds and Associations of Bookstores (CEGAL),..
with the support of the Spanish Ministry of Culture, for “the originality of its cycles, the diversity of its collection and its impact on the city” and for being “a reference for bookstores in Salamanca and other bookstores in the country”.
Letras Corsarias opened its doors on Rector Lucena Street in Salamanca just under ten years ago, on March 14, 2015, at a time marked by a reverse trend, the closing of bookstores in Spain. Since then and, above all, thanks to the tireless work of their staff, customer service, and cultural programs, it has become a cultural reference in the city.
