The Murcian writer and psychoanalyst Lola López Mondéjar (Molina de Segura, 66 years old) has been awarded this Monday with the Anagrama Essay Prize 2024, endowed with 10,000 euros,
for her work “Sin relato. Atrofia de la capacidad narrativa y crisis de la subjetividad,” a map on the loss of narrative capacity of the postmodern individual.
The jury has recognized “her intense and polyphonic dialogue with philosophy, psychoanalysis, film and literature to explain the causes and consequences of a disease whose spread and universalization is observed daily in clinical practice: the difficulty of admitting and explaining to themselves what the children of digital capitalism suffer”.
