The Spanish Confederation of Guilds and Associations of Bookstores in Spain (CEGAL), organizer ?with the collaboration of the Spanish Ministry of Culture? of the Cultural Bookstore Award, has announced the 25 bookstores aspiring to the award in its 2024 edition.

The purpose of this initiative is to promote the public recognition of those bookstores that are characterized by carrying out a continuous task of cultural books promotion and reading inside or outside the physical space of the bookstore. In addition, the daily efforts of booksellers will be recognized, highlighting their work in the management of the editorial fund and other important aspects of the profession.
