The explosion of social networks means a paradigm shift in the promotion of books and reading, favoring the knowledge of catalogs and extending the arrival of titles to new readers.
This was one of the messages heard yesterday on the first day in Liber, the International Book Fair being held in Barcelona.
Today, the press power of the traditional media has been joined with great force by the social networks. These have had a very positive effect on the book world, especially after the pandemic, recovering and giving new life to titles that seemed doomed to oblivion. It is not surprising, therefore, that the publishing sector has decided to use these digital channels to promote books and generate contact with readers.
