Liber begins on September 30 in Barcelona with the presence of 250 publishers.

The fair will be attended by 7,000 professionals, 40 percent of them international.

The 42nd edition of Liber, the International Book Fair, starts this Monday in Barcelona, with the presence of 680 professionals, some 250 publishers and the objective of boosting the Spanish market abroad and being a business engine and meeting point for an industry in full change and development.

This trade show, a key event for the export and promotion of Spanish-language books, will showcase the latest developments in the industry at Fira de Barcelona's Gran Via exhibition center, will feature nearly 250 publishers and companies from a dozen countries, and will bring together a hundred experts to discuss trends and challenges in the industry.

Organized by Fira de Barcelona and promoted by the Federation of Publishers' Guilds of Spain (FGEE).
