Nuria Rivera is from Badalona and studied Psychology. She has loved writing since childhood and has now published 17 historical and romance novels, which was the genre that opened the doors for her.

The latest one is called El secreto de las golondrinas and in this extensive interview she talks about it and many other topics. I thank her for the time given to this interview.

ACTUALIDAD LITERATURA: Your new novel, El secreto de las golondrinas, what is it about and where did the inspiration come from?

NURIA RIVERA: It's the story of a family of Andalusian olive growers who, after the death of one of the patriarch's daughters, intertwine the investigation of the murder with the reunion of lovers and a past full of family secrets. In it I speak of the value of the roots, of the home as the center of a family (represented by the family house: Las Golondrinas), I speak of resentment, envy, betrayal and secrets. Family secrets that can break everything that has been built. I speak of love in all its forms: to family, to friends, to the land and to romantic love.
